President Donald Trump is set to deliver a speech on Thursday on the Congressional black caucus, the group’s first event since Trump was elected.
Trump is scheduled to address the NAACP’s National Legislative Conference, a gathering of lawmakers, on Capitol Hill.
The event will be at 7 p.m.
EDT.
Trump, who will be a speaker at the conference, will be joined by NAACP members Rep. John Lewis, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen.-elect Cory Booker and others.
Trump will also address the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, a group of Latino representatives that has historically supported Democrats.
The Congressional Black Leadership Conference is scheduled for 2 p.d. ET.
